Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

This policy explains what personal data xtree.in collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the simulated evaluation platform operated by xtree Education LLP.

1. Who is responsible for your data

xtree Education LLP (Bengaluru, India) is the data controller for personal data processed through xtree.in. You can reach us at hello@xtree.in.

2. What we collect

We collect: account details from your sign-in provider (name, email, profile id); evaluation and trading activity on the simulated platform; payment records (amount, status, gateway reference — we do not store full card details); identity information you submit for the cleared-analyst phase (such as PAN), where applicable; and standard technical data (IP address, device, and usage logs) needed to run and secure the service.

3. How we use it

We use your data to operate the evaluation, process subscriptions, enforce risk and integrity rules, provide support, send transactional notifications (pass/fail/payment verification), comply with legal and tax obligations, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Payment and identity data

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we receive a reference and status, not your full instrument details. Identity data collected for the cleared-analyst phase is used solely for eligibility, compliance, and fee processing under the analyst agreement.

5. Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, database, payment, email), with xtree Capital LLP where you proceed to the cleared-analyst phase, and where required by law or to protect the integrity of the programme. Providers are bound to use the data only for the services they perform for us.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for non-essential processing. Contact hello@xtree.in to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including authenticated access to user data and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version always governs. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
