Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about XTree.

What is XTree?

XTree is an agentic trading education platform. You trade xSpot pairs (BTC, Gold, Oil in INR) with virtual capital through structured challenges. Prove your trading skills, and get funded with real capital. AI agents help you learn and execute strategies.

How do challenges work?

You subscribe to the Standard challenge (₹5,000/month) and receive ₹5,00,000 in virtual trading capital. Your goal is to grow it by 6% (₹30,000) within the 30-day window, across at least 5 trading days, while staying above the ₹15,000 Max Loss Limit. Pass the challenge and get funded.

Is real money at risk?

No. During the challenge phase, all trading is simulated paper trading. You trade with virtual capital only. The only cost is the monthly subscription. Once funded after passing, risk management is handled by XTree.

What are xSpot pairs?

xSpot pairs are synthetic educational trading instruments denominated in INR. They track the real-time prices of assets like Bitcoin, Gold, and Oil but are settled in INR. They are designed for the Indian market and educational purposes.

How is XTree different from Groww or Zerodha?

Groww and Zerodha are brokerages where you trade with your own money from day one. XTree is an education-first platform: you prove your skills with virtual capital through structured challenges before accessing real capital. Plus, XTree integrates AI trading agents and xSpot INR pairs.

What about TDS on xSpot trading?

xSpot pairs are synthetic educational instruments, not regulated securities or crypto assets. During the challenge phase, no real transactions occur so no TDS applies. Funded trading tax implications depend on your individual circumstances — consult a tax advisor.

Can I use AI agents?

Yes. XTree is building autonomous AI trading agents that can analyze markets, generate trade signals, and execute strategies on your behalf. Agents are designed to help you learn and improve your trading while managing risk within challenge parameters.
